One of my favorite memories that I can remember from my childhood is going to Butler Fishing Lake and fishing with my dad. This was an activity that we tried to do every Sunday when the weather permitted. We would mostly catch perch but we would also try to catch other things as well. My favorite part about fishing with my dad is that we would always have a competition to see who could catch the most fish. I usually won, of course. :) Not only did we do this as I was growing up, but even when I go home to visit we still do the same thing. It is a tradition that I have grown to love and thank my dad for teaching me how to be a tom boy.
